This home in Dignowity Hill is still being renovated, but we're going to peek inside.

More people have been looking to move to San Antonio in 2022.(Especially from Austin!) And San Antonio rents aren't dropping. From finding your perfect new home to negotiating rent prices, searching for an apartment in San Antonio can be quite the experience. Taking inspiration from our sister publication SFGate in San Francisco, MySA is looking at local properties showcasing the best, worst, and everything in between here in the Alamo City. Let's guess the rent.

Welcome back. Last week's resort-style apartment complex was a nice faux-tropical break from the home rentals, but this week we are back with a three-bedroom Dignowity Hill home at 107 St. Charles.

This one is a bit barren, which means we're not going to get any "here's what it looks like with furniture" photos. It's for good reason, since the owner is in the middle of renovating the 1,602-square-foot home.

This also means modern fixtures and shiny refinished hardwood floors. How much will that run you?

Like most homes, we're starting in the living room where you can see the kitchen in the distance.

Of course we start in the living room. Like most modern homes, the living room is what greets us, but we also get a look at refreshed retro fixtures. You can see the kitchen in the back but we'll get there soon.

Here is a view of the living room from the dining area.

Then we flip it and reverse it to catch a glimpse of the living room and its many windows from the dining room. I can only assume it's the dining room because it's so close to our next area.

The kitchen has new stainless steel appliances.

The Craigslist post says the home has new floor tile and you can see it in this kitchen. It looks like tenants will also get stainless steel appliances.

This photos of the bathroom is a little dark, but it look modern enough.

Again, this home is being renovated, so the lights probably aren't ready in this restroom. But it's another look at the new tile.

Here is one of the bedrooms with that wood flooring that's throughout the house.

See what I mean? Really shiny hardwood floors that have been refinished.

You even get a washroom with space for a washer and dryer.

And then close it out with the washroom, which is actually kind of cool. It has the fixtures for a washer and dryer and a tankless gas water heater.

So how much will you pay for this three-bedroom home? The Craigslist post says it will cost $2,200 a month, which matches up with the Zillow listing. The home will be ready for move-in on June 15.

Zumper says the average rent for a three-bedroom home is... $2,200. Well look at that.
